The Two Flats

The two flats are accessed from two separate medieval roads in the historical center of Modica. They are located within a four-minute walk to the main piazza, with numerous restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping. Super Markets, post office, tourist information center, ATM machines, and internet cafés are close by as well. Free parking is available at the street level, directly beneath the flats.

The flats have just been completely renovated with all new amenities, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and new appliances. They were restored to maximize traditional local features, including enhancing the original sandstone cave (grotta) walls. Before the renovation, it was one larger flat, and was converted into two fully furnished and self-contained studio apartments, each sleeping up to four people.

• Grotta Alta is the upper unit, with access from Via Sbalzo.
• Grotta Bassa is the lower unit, with access from Via Stello.

Both non-smoking units can be rented together for a discounted price.
